Open role
B2B Integration Engineer (TypeScript & Azure)
N.V. Eneco
About the role
You build the digital bridges between Eneco and our business partners, so energy data and services flow securely between organisations. You work with modern technology: TypeScript, Azure, event-driven architecture and Terraform. Your integrations make it possible to connect new partners faster, which directly speeds up the energy transition.
What you'll do
You design, build and maintain secure, reusable and scalable B2B integrations with our partners. You develop REST APIs, event-driven integrations and messaging solutions in TypeScript on Azure. You automate deployments and infrastructure with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps. Infrastructure as Code means you describe your infrastructure in code, so it is repeatable and reviewable. You talk with business teams and partner organisations, translate their integration needs into technical solutions, and help new partners get live. You keep the platform healthy through monitoring, testing and automation, and you improve the documentation and tooling that other developers rely on.
Secure, well-documented B2B integrations that partners can build on. APIs and event streams that stay available and performant, and that you run together with the team ("you build it, you run it"). Automated, repeatable deployments through IaC and CI/CD. A smooth onboarding experience for every new partner that connects to our platform.
What you'll bring
You have a few years of experience building backend services, APIs or integrations, and you enjoy owning them end to end. You work with TypeScript, or you are a strong developer in another modern language and happy to switch. You feel at home in the cloud. Azure is a plus, but experience with AWS or GCP translates well. You understand event-driven architecture, DevOps and Infrastructure as Code, and you like building systems that stay reliable under load. You can explain a technical solution to a partner or a business colleague without the jargon. Recognise yourself in most of this, but not every requirement? We'd still love to hear from you.
About the company
You join an engineering team that works closely with business teams and external partners. You think along on architecture, review each other's work and share what you learn. There is plenty of freedom to bring in your own ideas about how we build and improve.
