The successful candidate will identify and implement process improvements that enhance productivity, quality, efficiency, and overall operational performance. This role requires a hands-on Continuous Improvement professional who can quickly integrate with site teams and deliver measurable business impact through Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
What you'll do
Lead Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations. Facilitate Lean events including Kaizen workshops, GEMBA walks, and Value Stream Mapping activities. Analyse manufacturing performance data to identify improvement opportunities. Drive waste reduction, process optimisation, and productivity improvement projects. Partner with Production, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams. Support the deployment and sustainment of Lean Manufacturing principles. Lead problem-solving activities using DMAIC and Root Cause Analysis methodologies. Track project savings, benefits, and continuous improvement metrics. Coach and mentor teams on Continuous Improvement tools and best practices. Promote a culture of Operational Excellence throughout the organisation.
What you'll bring
Degree qualified in Engineering, Science, Operations, Business, or similar discipline. Minimum 3 years' experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or Process Improvement. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification essential. Black Belt certification highly desirable. Experience delivering measurable improvement projects within a manufacturing environment. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
