People Communications Intern (Internal Comms & Employer Branding)

About the role

We’re looking for an intern to join our People Communications team at the intersection of technology, storytelling and data. You’ll help shape how we connect with current and future TomTom’ers—through internal communications, employer branding and recruitment marketing. You are currently enrolled in a Dutch university for the full duration of the internship, or you hold EU citizenship (required for work permit eligibility) You’re studying something relevant (e.g. marketing, communications, business administration, media, HR) You’re excited to gain hands-on experience in a global tech company
What you'll do
Bring to life key employee moments (onboarding, recognition, company milestones, change moments) Support company-wide initiatives like Hackathon and People programs such as In Motion Create content across formats (copy, visual, video, social) Experiment with new tools and formats, including AI-supported approaches Contribute to employer branding and recruitment marketing campaigns Use data and insights to improve how we communicate and engage

You enjoy combining creativity with analytical thinking You’re curious about how technology and AI can improve the employee experience You like turning ideas into experiments—and learning from results You’re proactive, structured and comfortable working across teams You have strong communication skills in English
