About the role
At Working at WeAreBrain I Vacancies & Careers we're looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team.
What you'll do
Actively explore and apply new technologies, including AI tools such as Claude, to improve and accelerate marketing processes
Manage and support SEA campaigns focused on lead generation and conversion
Own and drive SQL targets by continuously monitoring, analysing and optimising pipeline performance across relevant channels
Website management: keeping content up to date, making CMS adjustments and monitoring the user experience
Set up, monitor, analyse and report on marketing performance using relevant tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console, SEMrush or similar)
Contribute to a broad mix of marketing projects: from SEO/AEO optimisation and content creation to email marketing and digital product launches
Set up, manage and optimise outbound campaigns to generate leads
Collaborate with internal teams — design, development, sales — to deliver content aligned with the brand strategy
Stay up to date with trends and developments in marketing and proactively make recommendations.
Skills & Requirements The ideal candidate has 5 to 6 years of experience in digital marketing and brings the following:
Excellent command of English (Dutch will be a plus)
Proven experience with SEA: managing and supporting paid campaigns via Google Ads and/or social media platforms
Proven experience with SEO and AEO
Experience with website management and CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, Framer or similar)
Experience with automated outbound campaigns
Experience with reporting tools and data analysis — able to translate insights into actions
Affinity with and interest in new technology, particularly the application of AI in marketing
Good writing skills, with the ability to craft copy across different formats and channels
Willingness to be involved in a wide variety of marketing projects, from SEO to content creation and campaign management
Attention to detail, strong organisational skills and comfortable multitasking
Affinity with a diverse working environment and different cultures
Nice to have

Who are we looking for? The Senior Marketing Specialist we are looking for is a motivated, analytically minded professional with a broad passion for marketing. You are equally comfortable in data and campaigns as you are in content and strategy. You enjoy working in an environment where technology plays a central role, and you are enthusiastic about the possibilities this brings to modern marketing. You will become part of our Amsterdam-based team, collaborating with colleagues across disciplines — from design to development — on a wide range of marketing initiatives for our clients and our own organisation. Please note that we are looking for a freelancer for a 5-month contract, who is available to work 3 days per week.
