Senior Business Developer – Non-Financial Risk & GRC

Are you an experienced Business Developer with a strong background in Non-Financial Risk, Operational Risk or Governance, Risk and Compliance? Would you like to play a key role in a strategic transformation within a leading financial institution in Amsterdam?

In this role, you will help implement the MetricStream SaaS platform and contribute to a simplified, standardised and future-proof GRC landscape.

As Senior Business Developer, you will bridge the gap between Business, Risk and IT. You will translate Non-Financial Risk processes, data models and organisational structures into clear business requirements and functional solution designs.

You will guide the implementation of several key NFR and GRC processes within MetricStream, ensuring the solution meets internal policies, regulatory requirements and audit expectations. Your work will directly contribute to a scalable, sustainable and effective control environment.

Your responsibilities include:

Translating business requirements for processes such as RA, IMAT, SIRA, MC&T and REM into approved functional designs.

Supporting the configuration and implementation of these processes within MetricStream.

Ensuring solutions align with NFR policies, risk frameworks, regulatory requirements and audit expectations.

Coordinating data migration activities, including scope definition, data-quality validation, migration waves and reconciliation.

Preparing and supporting User Acceptance Testing and business acceptance.

Identifying and resolving critical defects before go-live.

Advising stakeholders using your expertise in Non-Financial Risk and GRC.

Supporting business readiness, user adoption and knowledge transfer.

Maintaining strong alignment between Business, Risk and IT.

Contributing to a smooth transition from implementation to Business-as-Usual.
