HR Data Analytics Intern

About the role
As the HR Data Analytics Intern, you will sit within the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) team in the HR Department. You will support by creating and maintaining reports within our ADP Lyric Human Capital Management (HCM) System and by building dashboards and working on HR projects. As we have recently moved from Oracle HCM to ADP Lyric, assisting the HR Data Analyst with migrating the reporting catalog from Oracle to Lyric is also a task within this role.
What you'll do
Support the HRIS team in meeting the company’s reporting needs.
Collaborate with other departments to identify the most impactful ways for data and analytics to drive and support decision-making.
Be a point of contact for data, analytics, and testing within the HR Department to ensure accurate and proper interpretation of core business metrics.
Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics, and automate reporting processes to streamline data delivery and improve efficiency.
Develop and design visually appealing dashboards and reports using the Oracle HCM System and SQL, and be able to present complex data in a clear and understandable manner for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Support in the implementation of change initiatives and HR Projects.
Manage your bandwidth and stakeholder expectations by utilizing ManageEngine for requests.
What you'll bring
Need to be enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's/Master's program during the entire internship period, preferably within Data Science or Business Analytics
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, especially SQL, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Familiarity with database management and data warehousing concepts.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Language: fluent in English. Other languages are a plus.
Able to work independently using your own initiative, as well as in a team
Able to work in an international work environment
Good communication and people skills
Committed to delivering a high level of customer service, both internally and externally
You have an eye for detail and are able to prioritize and multitask
Able to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
