As a Learning lead at ASML, you shape how people learn, grow, and build critical expertise. Your work ensures that knowledge reaches the right people at the right moment. This directly supports ASML’s ability to innovate at the forefront of semiconductor technology.
In this role, you translate business needs into effective learning and knowledge solutions. You help teams develop skills that matter today and in the coming years. You are end-to-end responsible for the continuous improvement, delivery within agreed budgets.
The work requires extensive knowledge in the specialized field in scope and understanding of the L&KM concepts and principles. Applies the L&KM concepts for the successful delivery and is recognized as ambassador of the new type of solutions. L&KM Solutions within scope need to be scaled and require collaboration with internal and external parties.
Responsibilities
As Learning College lead for Security, Risk and Controls, you own the learning and knowledge portfolio strategy and deployment for a clearly defined competence area. You align strategy, execution, and continuous improvement to ensure learning solutions support business performance. You will work closely with the Business Sponsors, Stakeholders in all sectors and countries as well as the Academies.
In this role, you will:
Responsible for the learning (portfolio) and knowledge strategy and roadmap for your College
Translate business needs and key change initiatives into practical and impactful learning solutions
Own delivery, deployment, and quality of the College learning portfolio
Responsible for developing high quality technical training and / or deliver the training
Analyzing the learning needs with key stakeholders in RBA&S, design a learning solution to close the learning gap, develop the training materials, implement/Deliver the training and Evaluate the training to check if the learning gap is closed
Set priorities and guide design and development activities
Training portfolio management, keeping it up to date and relevant
Coordinate the end-to-end delivery, maintenance and continuous improvement of large L&KM Solutions within specified timelines and manage stakeholders to ensure realization of pre-defined goals, in terms of content, participation, date, delivery, budget etc. Focus is on Delivery and implementation.
Manage budget and external (learning) vendor engagements to support learning developments and implementation
Close collaboration with key stakeholders in sectors, RBA&S, Academy and/or countries
Make use of the latest learning methodologies, e.g. Virtual Classroom, Hardware set-ups and Software Simulations, AI, Escape rooms or other
Monitor effectiveness using data, monthly KPI monitoring, metrics, and impact / return-on-investment
Conduct the evaluation and measurement process according to the defined global quality standards and report regularly on effectiveness and business impact back to relevant stakeholders such as Business Sponsors, Academy, and others
Conduct periodic content reviews of learning portfolio and learning paths in collaboration with subject matter experts and stakeholders to check if content still up-to date. Responsible to create action plans for improvement and drive timely deployment
Design and develop evaluation materials for quality and impact measurements
Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and subject matter experts which learning solutions are most recommended for driving high impact for the various change initiatives
Drive continuous improvement across content, processes, and services
What you'll bring
To succeed in this function, you bring strong experience in learning and knowledge management within a business environment.
You have:
A master’s degree in a relevant field
10+ years of relevant professional experience within Learning & Development (L&D) in complex, technical environments.
Substantial experience managing learning and knowledge solutions end to end
Substantial Experience working with learning portfolios, roadmaps, and budgets
Extensive Knowledge of Academy portfolio and Learning development methods
Familiarity with data-driven decision-making and performance measurement
Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners
Proven experience with metadata-driven learning ecosystems (LMS/TCD), Kaltura or similar video platforms, SharePoint metadata/TMS, and reporting (Power BI/Spotfire/SMT).
Familiarity with media-rich learning (video, animation, web-lectures, VR/3D) and studio/AV workflows.
