About the company
At Booking.com, data drives our decisions. Technology is at our core. And innovation is everywhere. But our company is more than datasets, lines of code or A/B tests. We’re the thrill of the first night in a new place. The excitement of the next morning. The friends you encounter. The journeys you take. The sights you see. And the memories you make. Through our products, partners and people, we make it easier for everyone to experience the world. The Treasury Accounting team plays a critical role in safeguarding the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of Booking.com’s financial records across high-impact accounting streams. Treasury Accounting provides subject-matter ownership, governance, and review for complex foreign exchange, hedging, cash management, and treasury-related accounting activities across the group. The team operates at the intersection of accounting, treasury, financial controls, systems, and business partnership, ensuring that complex treasury activity is translated into robust and controlled financial reporting outcomes. As Booking.com continues to centralise and expand its cross-company FX and hedging framework, Treasury Accounting must retain clear ownership of accounting policy application, control design, decision-making, review, and escalation across the relevant processes.
