Head of Group Accounting & Financial Reporting (all gender) in Amsterdam

You are the accounting authority for Dott. You will own the integrity of our consolidated financial statements for the group and around 30 legal entities, setting and defending our technical accounting positions, and you will be responsible for meeting our reporting obligations as a public interest entity with listed bonds. Over the next two to three years you will work together with the Head of Financial Operations to bring our reporting, control and audit processes to the standard a listed company requires in order to make us ready for IPO. You will report directly to the CFO as a member of the Finance Leadership Team, leading the Group Accounting team in Amsterdam and the Statutory Controlling team in Wroclaw. You will work closely with the Head of Finance Operations, who runs record-to-report and procure-to-pay, and with Treasury, Tax, FP&A and Legal. WHAT YOU OWN Group consolidation and external reporting: Deliver the monthly, quarterly and annual IFRS consolidated financial statements for the group, consolidated in NetSuite Produce the quarterly and annual reports for our listed bond and sign off the accounting content of board and investor reporting Prepare the annual financial statements of Tier Mobility SE under German GAAP (HGB) Technical accounting: How the group accounts for complex matters Writing and maintaining the group accounting manual and position papers. Advising the CFO, the leadership team and the Board on the impact of accounting standards and changes to them External audit: Own the relationship with our external auditors Plan and run the group audit and the statutory audits of all entities to an agreed timetable, resolving technical matters with the audit team before they reach the CFO or the Audit Committee Statutory reporting: Lead the Statutory Controlling team, accountable for the annual statutory accounts and filings of around 30 entities across 20 countries Internal controls over financial reporting: Design the control framework for financial reporting and bring it to the standard a listed company needs Transactions: Accounting lead on the refinancing of our bond, on any future capital raise or IPO, and on M&A and corporate restructurings Leadership: Build a high-performing accounting team across Amsterdam and Wroclaw, developing your managers into the next generation of finance leaders Contribute to the direction of the whole finance function as a Finance Leadership Team member

Experience: 12+ years in Accounting & Financial Reporting (preferably in a publicly listed company and / or Big 4 audit or accounting advisory) including ownership of group accounting in a multi-country company. Certifications: Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CPA/CA, or equivalent). Technical Standards: Deep expertise in IFRS required; knowledge of HGB (German GAAP) and tax experience (especially VAT) is a plus Capital markets reporting: You have reported to bondholders or public shareholders, or you have prepared a company for a listing Audit ownership: You have run a group audit from the company side, to plan and to budget, and you know how to work with an audit partner as a peer Controls: You have designed or upgraded an internal control framework for financial reporting, for example for SOX, a listing or a private equity owner Leadership: You have led accounting teams across more than one location and you can develop senior managers Language: Fluent English. German and knowledge of HGB are an advantage
