At Qlayers you’ll work with advanced robotic coating systems on projects around the world. You’ll spend time preparing projects from our headquarters, but a large part of your role will be in the field: commissioning and operating equipment, troubleshooting problems, supporting customers, and making sure operations run smoothly. What you will be doing In the field Commission, operate and support our robotic coating systems Diagnose and solve electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues Support maintenance and repairs together with customers and partners Train operators and technicians on the safe and effective use of our equipment Represent Qlayers on-site and build strong customer relationships Document findings, service activities, and equipment performance. From the office Prepare international projects Support operational planning and logistics Coordinate spare parts and assemblies Provide remote support to teams and customers worldwide. What we are looking for Technical education (MBO/HBO) or equivalent hands-on experience in a technical field Background in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Maintenance, or a similar technical field Experience working with industrial equipment, machinery, automation, or field service activities Comfortable reading technical documentation and troubleshooting systems Good communication skills in English Able to work independently and make decisions in the field Willing to travel internationally (30–50%).
