About the role

Transition Manager Clients engage RGP for expertise in delivering large and complex transformation initiatives to strengthen their business. As a Transition Manager Consultant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of business transitions across designated functional areas including Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Master Data Management (MDM), or Marketing. Working within a Global Business Services (GBS) environment, you will lead transition activities from planning through stabilization, ensuring seamless transfer of processes, capabilities, and responsibilities with minimal disruption to business operations.

What you'll do

KEY DELIVERABLES • Lead end-to-end transition delivery from planning and mobilization through knowledge transfer, cutover, stabilization, and transition closure. • Manage transitions within a specific function while ensuring alignment with broader transition governance frameworks and objectives. • Develop and maintain transition plans, governance structures, milestone tracking, status reporting, and stakeholder communications. • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions throughout the transition lifecycle. • Coordinate activities across markets, business functions, GBS teams, technology teams, and third-party partners. • Drive stakeholder engagement, business readiness, and change adoption to ensure successful transition outcomes. • Ensure all transitions are delivered in accordance with established methodologies, governance standards, and operating procedures. • Partner with technology programme teams delivering ERP, S/4HANA, cloud, digital, or related transformation initiatives occurring alongside business transitions. • Support operational stabilization activities and ensure effective handover to receiving organizations.

What you'll bring

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • Proven and demonstrable end-to-end Transition Management experience. • Experience independently leading complex business transitions through stabilization and closure. • Experience within Global Business Services (GBS), Shared Services, M&A integrations or separations, outsourcing programmes, operating model transformations, or large-scale business transformation initiatives. • Strong experience managing regional, global, or multi-country transition programmes. • Exposure to business transitions delivered alongside ERP, SAP S/4HANA, cloud, digital, or other technology transformation programmes is highly desirable. • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior business and technology leaders. • Demonstrated governance, risk management, issue management, dependency management, and change management expertise. • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions, cultures, geographies, and time zones. • Comfortable working independently within fast-paced and evolving transformation environments.
