MEP Quantity Surveyor

Build your career as an MEP Quantity Surveyor with Haskoning Vietnam. You'll gain exposure to diverse and challenging projects, collaborate with experienced local and international professionals, and play a key role in delivering cost-effective and sustainable engineering solutions.

Prepare quantity take-offs, bills of quantities and cost estimates for MEP works. Develop unit-rate build-ups using labour, material, plant, subcontractor and market inputs. Prepare cost analyses, monitor design development, changes and variations, and assess their impact on quantities, budgets and forecasts throughout the project lifecycle. Research material sources and suitable design solutions for potential projects. Follow up and update material prices and market trends to support quotations and benchmarks. Assess value engineering studies by comparing cost and scope. Help establish, maintain and improve cost databases. Participate in project meetings, tender interviews and commercial discussions with clients, designers, contractors and suppliers. Support tender evaluation, clarification and recommendation activities when required.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Minimum 3 years of experience in quantity surveying or electrical design, with familiarity with both international and Vietnamese standards. Knowledge of contract management, particularly FIDIC contracts, is an advantage. Proficiency in relevant software, including BIM, Revit, Navisworks, Forma, AutoCAD, Excel and Microsoft Office. Hard-working, patient, responsible and decisive. Positive and transparent working attitude, with strong teamwork skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure. Good command of written and spoken English. Candidates will be assessed based on relevant qualifications, experience and demonstrated capability.
