Market Lead Climate Resilience

As Market Lead Climate Resilience, you will drive business development across the Water sector, build strategic partnerships, and collaborate with technical teams to deliver solutions for coastal protection, water management, and climate adaptation.

Key Responsibilities: Lead business development initiatives for climate resilience projects within the Water & Maritime sector in Indonesia. Identify and pursue new opportunities with government agencies, private sector, and international development organizations. Develop strategic partnerships and maintain strong client relationships to expand market presence. Prepare and deliver high-quality proposals, bids, and presentations aligned with client needs and organizational goals. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions meet environmental, social, and engineering standards. Monitor market trends and regulatory developments to inform business strategies.

Minimum 8 years of proven experience in business development, preferably in infrastructure, water resources, or environmental sectors. Educational Background: Degree in Coastal Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or Environmental & Social Sciences (Master’s degree preferred). Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with climate resilience strategies, coastal protection, water resource management, and environmental/social impact frameworks. Skills : Strong networking and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and proposal writing abilities. Ability to manage complex projects and multi-stakeholder engagements. Preferred Attributes: Experience working with international donors or development banks. Understanding of Indonesian regulatory environment and local market dynamics. Leadership qualities with a collaborative mindset.

You will be based at Haskoning Indonesia’s South Jakarta office, working with our Water & Maritime team and collaborating with clients, government agencies, and international development partners.
