Medior / Senior MEP BIM Modeller (Piping)

With the ambition of accelerating the growth of our Joint Capability Centre (JCC) for Water Technology Engineering (WT Engineering) sector, we are looking for experienced MEP BIM Modeller to work closely with the WT Engineering team in the Netherlands. In this role, you won’t just turn 2D lines into 3D models—you’ll be the technical backbone connecting P&ID process engineering directly with real-world constructability and prefabrication. If you want true technical ownership over complex piping systems and the autonomy to solve real engineering challenges on high-stakes projects, this is where your expertise makes a direct impact.

Participate in the design and development of piping systems for industrial, water/wastewater treatment facilities and MEP projects in accordance with project requirements. Prepare the P&ID-Piping & Instrument Diagram based on the Process design and requirement by 2D Cad and Cad plant 3D where required. Prepare and review piping layouts, routing plans, sections, installation details, and isometric drawings by 2D Cad and 3D modelling (Cad Plant 3D or Revit) where required. Design pipe support arrangements, installation clearances, operation, and maintenance access, and piping thermal expansion/contraction requirements. Drive Multi-Disciplinary Coordination & Constructability: Lead clash resolution in BIM, Revit or Navisworks Manage against Arch, Structure, and MEP system. Prepare and review technical deliverables such as design calculations, technical specifications, material/equipment schedules, BOQs and documentation for tendering and construction. Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, HVAC, Fire Protection, and other disciplines during design development. Ensure designs comply with project, process requirements, quality management procedures, applicable technical standards, and regulations.

Ability to read, understand the Piping & Instrument Diagram (P&ID) and other process drawings / document. Good knowledge of Mechanical and Piping system design, including routing, sizing, pipe materials, valves/fittings, jointing methods and pipe support arrangements. Good understanding of relevant piping codes and standards; experience applying Vietnamese and/or international standards is an advantage. Experience in piping design for industrial plants, water/wastewater treatment facilities, utility systems, or large-scale MEP projects. Experience with Revit, Navisworks and other equivalent modelling software is an advantage. Experience with Cad Plant 3D: P&ID, 3D Piping, Isometric, Orthographic drawing, Spec editor, Report Creator Experience with 3D/BIM coordination and clash detection between piping and other disciplines.
