They are currently looking for a Procurement Lead to join their team in Limburg. In this role, you will have the opportunity to take ownership, drive process improvements, and make a visible impact across the organisation while working in a collaborative environment with short lines of communication and an informal culture. Job Profile for Procurement Lead Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Lead end-to-end procurement activities, from supplier selection and negotiations through to contract implementation and supplier management Lead complex procurement and contract negotiations to achieve the best commercial outcomes Partner with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and translate them into effective sourcing strategies Develop and implement procurement strategies focused on cost optimisation, risk management, and long-term supplier partnerships Identify market trends and provide strategic procurement recommendations Prepare, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts, ensuring contractual compliance and effective contract performance Conduct supplier evaluations, market analyses, and benchmarking activities Drive the centralisation, optimisation, and automation of procurement processes, including the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process Build, manage, and develop strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders Lead or participate in cross-functional projects, ensuring procurement activities align with business objectives and governance requirements Coordinate team activities, monitor performance, and support the development of team members Analyse procurement performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost control Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable legal requirements Candidate Profile for Procurement Lead Must be fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Commercial Economics, or a related discipline NEVI 1 certification or an equivalent procurement qualification is advantageous 5+ years of procurement experience within the private sector Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and relevant legal and commercial principles Experience leading procurement transformation or organisational change initiatives Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and supplier relationship management skills Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into strategic procurement decisions Experience optimising procurement processes, including Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) workflows Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills Results-driven, pragmatic, and committed to continuous improvement Previous people management or team leadership experience is advantageous What Our Client Offers Hybrid working and flexible working arrangements Company laptop and iPhone Fixed-term contract (32–40 hours per week) with the opportunity for a permanent contract 26 days of annual leave Pension scheme Learning and professional development opportunities Discounted gym membership Regular team events, annual Christmas celebration, and international team-building trips Already imagine yourself in this position?
