Grant Proposal Writer

We are looking for an accomplished scientific grant writer/proposal manager to join our research team at Fortaegis. As a leader in security semiconductors with a strong focus on security technologies, we aim to secure competitive funding for innovative R&D projects. We are looking for candidates with not only an exceptional skillset, but also an exceptional mindset, willing to go above and beyond to make our breakthrough product even better.

Identify and target funding opportunities across EU, national, and international programs Lead development of compelling technical proposals (work packages, innovation impact, implementation plans) Coordinate with internal R&D teams to articulate visions and technical approaches Manage grant consortia, financial reporting, and compliance requirements Stay current on emerging funding trends and program priorities

Education: PhD or Master's in Engineering, Bioengineering, Computer Science, or related technical field Experience: Demonstrated track record in writing successful grant proposals (EU H2020/HORIZON Europe, ESA, national programs) Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of  automotive technologies, security semiconductors, or related fields Skills: Exceptional scientific writing, project budgeting, consortium coordination, proposal management

We seek a candidate with: - Advanced scientific/engineering education (PhD preferred) - Technical understanding of health technologies + security domains - Proven success in securing research/grant funding (especially EU programs) The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to participate in shaping the design of our groundbreaking product, contributing to the development of ultra-secure and high-performance SoC designs.
