About the role

Role summary KHC offers an opportunity for a Sales Finance Intern to support the Sales Finance team with financial planning, analysis, and decision support for key Strategic Accounts within the Benelux business. You will work closely with the Sales teams and cross-functional partners (including Brand Category and Operations) to help drive business growth, improve profitability, and support sales performance.

Key responsibilities (you will support the team with) Financial controls & business routines

Support weekly and monthly rituals/routines on trade performance and budget management with Sales teams and senior leadership.

Assist with day-to-day financial analyses and business cases across Sales performance & forecast analysis

Help develop and maintain financial models to forecast sales, revenue, and profitability.

Support analysis of sales trends, identify improvement opportunities, and help prepare recommendations to optimize sales performance and profitability. Promotion & pricing analysis

Assist in analysing the effectiveness of promotions, pricing strategies, digital shelf, and assortment.

Help generate insights to inform future business decisions and support customer-specific go-to-market thinking based on national brand guidance. Job requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree (preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Economics) at a recognized university Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (e.g., building and maintaining basic models, analysing datasets, and creating clear outputs for stakeholders).

Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly understand sales, revenue, and profitability information and translate complex data into simple, actionable insights.

Collaborative relationship-builder who can work effectively in a team, bringing a constructive and appropriately challenging mindset to improve decisions and outcomes.

Hands-on problem solver with an ownership mentality, proactive in identifying issues, structuring analyses, and following through to support business planning. Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.

Job requirements

Bachelor/Master, preferably in a field related to the position.

Strong proficiency in English, with Dutch preferred.

You are enrolled at a university for at least 50% of the internship duration.

NOTE: EU working rights are required (Either you have EU Citizenship or you are studying in the Netherlands)
