QA/QC officer E&I

What you'll do
· E&I Inspections: Perform inspections on cabling, terminations, panels, instruments, earthing, bonding, trays, junction boxes. · Testing & Verification: Conduct continuity tests, insulation resistance (Megger), loop checks, calibration, point‑to‑point tests, cold/hot commissioning tests. · Quality Documentation Control: Review ITPs, QCPs, procedures, checklists, construction dossiers, pre‑commissioning packages. · Non‑Conformity Management: Issue NCRs, track corrective actions, verify closure, and ensure compliance restoration. · Compliance Audits: Ensure alignment with IEC, NEC, ATEX/IECEx, API, ISA, and client specifications. · Punch List Management: Identify, categorize, and follow up punch items until full resolution. · Field Coordination: Interface with construction, commissioning, HSE, vendors, and client representatives. · Regulatory Assurance: Ensure installations meet all legal and regulatory obligations. · Quality Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly reports, dashboards, KPIs, and inspection summaries.
What you'll bring
· Standards & Codes: IEC, NEC, ATEX/IECEx, API RP 500/505, ISA. · Technical Documentation: P&ID, SLD, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, instrument index, cable schedule. · Testing Tools & Methods: Megger, continuity testers, calibration tools, HART communicator, loop‑check equipment. · Systems & Equipment: MCC, switchgear, transformers, transmitters, analyzers, control valves, PLC/DCS I/O. · Quality Tools: ITPs, QCPs, checklists, pre‑commissioning/commissioning dossiers. · Digital Tools: Punch list software, NCR tracking systems, QA/QC dashboards.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy. • Ability to challenge deviations diplomatically. • Clear communication with field teams and client representatives. • Strong safety and compliance mindset. • Ability to work under pressure in shutdown/FFSD environments.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Automation, or equivalent. • Proven experience in QA/QC E&I within Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Power, or Heavy Industry.
CompEx / ATEX / IECEx ISA Instrumentation QA/QC Inspection Certifications (CSWIP, BGAS, or E&I equivalent) Strong knowledge of international E&I standards. Technical English proficiency (documentation and reporting
