Our client is a global engineering and technology company that specializes in large-scale energy and industrial infrastructure projects. It provides services including engineering, procurement, construction, and project management, with strong expertise in liquefied natural gas (LNG), petrochemicals, hydrogen, and carbon capture solutions. The organization plays a key role in supporting both conventional energy developments and lower-carbon technologies as part of the global energy transition. The Field Instrument Engineer will support the Lead Engineer in the technical evaluation of vendor bids, ensuring a smooth evaluation process while maintaining the required quality standards. The role also includes the follow-up and coordination of several package units throughout the project lifecycle. In addition, the engineer will provide support in the interface between field instrumentation and design activities, including hook-up selection, optimization of installation details, and ensuring alignment between design requirements and field implementation. Responsibilities will also include performing spot checks of vendor documentation and drawings, as well as reviewing instrumentation-related modeling activities to ensure compliance with project requirements and engineering standards.
