We are recruiting for the Financial Analyst role for Ocean Shipping Consultants ( OSC ), a specialist Haskoning unit. Ocean Shipping Consultants is the maritime business consultancy group of Haskoning and is a leading brand in the maritime sector. What you'll do
You are part of an (international) project team with people from different disciplines (commercial, technical, operations, financial, environmental). We understand the client's needs and formulate an approach that achieves their objectives. You analyse market trends, build financial-economic models, and reflect on them with the clients: What insights can we gain? Which scenarios are considered, and how do they compare? What is the way forward? You work on multiple projects, covering assets classes in the maritime and supply chain industry. The work is fast-paced and distinctly different as you cover different countries. You maintain close contact with your colleagues to ensure that activities are optimally coordinated. There are opportunities to showcase your strengths, and a proactive approach is encouraged and appreciated. KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY: Build and maintain financial and economic models for consulting projects. Perform financial feasibility studies, investment appraisals, and scenario analyses. Analyse project costs, revenues, risks, and investment performance. Support due diligence, business cases, and economic assessments. Prepare financial reports and presentations for clients. Work closely with engineers, consultants, and project managers on multidisciplinary projects. Contribute to client discussions by providing financial insights and recommendations.
What you'll bring
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field. Fresh graduates or up to 2 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, consulting, banking, or investment analysis. Strong financial modelling and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI or financial modelling tools is an advantage. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Professional proficiency in English. Nice to have Experience in infrastructure, maritime, logistics, ports, or water sector projects. Knowledge of project finance, PPP, or investment appraisal. CFA Level I or postgraduate qualification (MBA/MSc) is an advantage.

About the company
You will become part of Haskoning Indonesia's Water & Maritime team based in South Jakarta, Indonesia. You will supporting advisory projects by developing financial and economic analyses for ports, maritime infrastructure, logistics, coastal developments, and other water-related investments.
