What you'll do

You will: Confirm that all required procedures, documentation and approvals are completed before project initiation. Plan and deliver projects in accordance with contracts, budgets, timelines and applicable quality, safety and ethical standards. Develop project plans, monitor progress, manage risks and provide clear updates to customers and internal stakeholders. Coordinate project resources and select team members based on the competencies required for each assignment. Define material requirements and prepare accurate orders for procurement in line with project schedules. Maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships, address issues promptly and escalate when necessary. Complete project evaluations, share lessons learned and manage aftersales activities during the warranty period. What does success look like? Deliver Results A project is successful when it delivers on three goals at the same time: satisfied clients, a healthy and safe team, and a sound financial result. A person is successful in this role when they: Deliver their projects on time, within budget and in line with contractual, quality and safety requirements, spotting risks and delivery issues early and escalating them in time. Own the customer relationship within their running projects, working closely with the Business Development Manager who owns the wider relationship, so that the way we deliver earns us the next vessel. Keep everyone working on the project safe and motivated, and act when safety or workload comes under pressure. Achieve a sound financial result by forecasting accurately, managing scope changes and variation orders, and keeping costs and supplier coverage under control. Work effectively with Sales, Service, Warehouse and Procurement, and improve future projects through evaluations, lessons learned and solid aftersales follow-up. What you'll bring

Required Practical experience coordinating or managing projects in a technical, engineering or comparable environment. Strong planning, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Clear communication and negotiation skills, with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and a collaborative mindset. Professional fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written. Preferred A bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management or a related field. Experience in the maritime industry or with navigation, communication, automation or other technical systems. Strong digital skills and experience working with project planning, reporting or ERP tools.

About the company

As a Project Manager, you will oversee multiple maritime projects and sub-projects from initiation through delivery and the warranty period. You will ensure that each project is completed on time, within budget and in line with contractual, quality, safety and ethical requirements. You will contribute to reliable project delivery and strong customer relationships by coordinating resources, materials, stakeholders and progress. The role sits within the Projects department and works closely with fellow Project Managers, Sales Engineers, Business Development Managers, Service, Warehouse and other operational colleagues.
