What you'll do

Gathering, analysing, and documenting business and technical requirements Supporting a multi-factor authentication (MFA) project, including stakeholder engagement, impact assessment, and requirements definition Working closely with security, infrastructure, and technical teams to understand authentication and access management processes Facilitating workshops, meetings, and requirements gathering sessions Producing high-quality business analysis artefacts including process maps, requirements documents, user stories, and functional specifications Conducting feasibility assessments for a range of upcoming business and technology initiatives Supporting business case development and options analysis activities Identifying risks, dependencies, assumptions, and opportunities across project workstreams Collaborating with project managers, consultants, architects, and delivery teams to support successful project outcomes Ensuring requirements are clearly prioritised, validated, and aligned to business objectives Providing regular updates and insights to key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Nice to have

Experience supporting identity and access management (IAM) or multi-factor authentication (MFA) initiatives Experience working on cyber security, infrastructure, or technology-related projects Experience conducting feasibility studies, discovery activities, or options appraisals Consultancy or Global Systems Integrator experience Knowledge of business case development and project initiation processes Familiarity with authentication technologies, security controls, or Microsoft identity solutions Relevant certifications such as: BCS Business Analysis CBAP AgileBA PMI-PBA Working Arrangements Initial 6-month engagement Predominantly remote working Occasional travel to client locations as required Working closely with consultants, technical teams, security stakeholders, and business leaders Opportunity to contribute to both strategic transformation initiatives and business-critical technology projects Strong potential for extension based on project demand No direct line management responsibility This role would suit an experienced Business Analyst who enjoys working across both business and technology domains, supporting complex change initiatives, and helping organisations make informed decisions through effective analysis, stakeholder engagement, and requirements management.

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking an Experienced Business Analyst to join our Global Systems Integrator client. This is an exciting opportunity to support a portfolio of business and technology initiatives, playing a key role in both a critical identity and access management project and a broader pipeline of strategic change programmes. You will split your time between supporting the transition from legacy multi-factor authentication methods and contributing to feasibility assessments across a range of future transformation initiatives. Working closely with technical teams, security stakeholders, project managers, consultants, and business leaders, you will help ensure requirements are clearly understood, documented, and translated into actionable outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst who enjoys working across multiple workstreams, engaging with diverse stakeholder groups, and bridging the gap between business objectives and technical delivery.

We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and business change experience. Approximately 50% of the role will focus on a multi-factor authentication (MFA) initiative, supporting the transition from legacy authentication methods and helping identify business, technical, and operational impacts. The remaining 50% of the role will involve supporting feasibility assessments across a portfolio of upcoming projects. Working alongside senior consultants and delivery teams, you will help evaluate opportunities, define requirements, assess business needs, and support the development of future project business cases. The role is highly collaborative and will require engagement with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple business functions.

Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within complex business or technology transformation programmes Strong requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation skills Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and requirements elicitation sessions Demonstrable experience producing business analysis artefacts including process maps, user stories, business requirements documents, and gap analyses Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Experience working across both business and technical teams Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments Self-directed and delivery-focused, able to work independently and collaboratively
