This is what you will be doing.

Designs, builds, and runs various backend systems in the GOPACS microservice landscape;

Ensures appropriate (minimal) documentation, reporting, and formalization;

Actively contributes to design and refinement sessions;

Applies best practices in the areas of security, quality, and availability;

Contributes to automated quality controls in the CI/CD pipeline;

Create and execute automated unit and integration tests;

Participates in the regular DevOps incident management process.

You take this with you

Demonstrable experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot;

Experience with the use of design patterns and methodologies and an opinion on Clean Code;

Insight into different test levels (unit tests, functional tests, API tests, mocking, end-to-end tests).

Nice to haves

Experience with Kotlin;

Experience with build & deployment tools such as: Maven, GIT, Docker, Ansible;

Experience with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB;

Practical experience with CI/CD tooling and activation processes;

Hands-on experience with setting up and maintaining OTAP development chains and tooling;

Experience with Linux and scripting;

Insight into API implementations such as REST;

Insight into logging and monitoring with Elastic, LogStash, Kibana, and Grafana;

Insight into end-to-end tests with Playwright and Cucumber;

Experience with CQRS Patterns and tooling (Axon Framework);

Experience in the energy sector.
