About the role
We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in enterprise Java development, REST APIs, and payment systems. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services that support digital wallet functionality, payment processing, and card tokenization services within a secure and scalable banking environment.
What you'll do
Develop and maintain Java-based backend services and APIs.
Design and enhance digital wallet and payment-related functionalities.
Implement card lifecycle management features including:
Token creation
Token deletion
Token status updates
Integrate backend systems with mobile applications and external payment platforms.
Ensure compliance with security, authentication, and authorization standards.
Participate in integration testing, debugging, and production support activities.
Resolve issues identified during end-to-end and conformity testing.
Conduct code reviews and contribute to application performance improvements.
Follow Agile delivery practices and engineering standards.
