What you'll do
Provide L2/L3 production support for critical Equities trading and post-trade applications. Monitor application health and performance using enterprise monitoring platforms. Lead incident triage, troubleshooting, and resolution efforts during production outages and service disruptions. Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative measures to improve platform stability and resiliency. Coordinate problem, incident, change, and release management activities in accordance with ITIL best practices. Support application onboarding, platform upgrades, and production deployments. Partner with business users, development teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors to resolve complex technical issues. Identify opportunities for automation, monitoring enhancements, and operational efficiencies. Maintain operational metrics, reporting, and service analytics. Act as an escalation point for critical production issues and stakeholder communications. Participate in capacity planning, operational readiness reviews, and production governance activities. Support a 24x7 global production environment and collaborate with offshore and onshore teams.
What you'll bring
5+ years of hands-on experience supporting mission-critical trading applications in a production environment. Experience providing direct support for front-office and/or back-office trading systems. Strong understanding of Equities trading workflows and trade processing lifecycle. Proven experience managing production incidents, problem management, and outage resolution under tight deadlines. Strong knowledge of ITIL and SDLC methodologies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior management, business stakeholders, and technology teams. Ability to work independently while collaborating across global teams. FDM is seeking a Senior Application Support Analyst located in Chandler to support a project in the financial sector. Involvement in this project is anticipated to last initially 24 months but may be extended. This role will be hybrid with requirements to be in office 3 days per week.
Senior Production Support Engineer - Equities Trading Applications Location: Chandler, AZ Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Production Support Engineer to join the Equities Production Services team supporting critical front-office and back-office trading applications. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of key trading platforms through proactive monitoring, incident management, root cause analysis, automation, and application support.
