Computer Vision Engineer

As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will: Develop and deploy vision algorithms for object detection, defect recognition, and environmental mapping Work on 2D/3D vision pipelines using cameras, RGB-D sensors and LiDAR Optimise algorithms for real-time performance on embedded hardware Implement sensor fusion methods that combine vision, IMU and GNSS inputs Support mission-critical applications such as infrastructure inspection Contribute to dataset curation, annotation and evaluation frameworks Develop AI models for defect detection Validate vision systems in both simulation and real-world field trials

Solid experience in computer vision and deep learning (OpenCV, PyTorch/TensorFlow) Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++ (TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV or similar frameworks) Experience with real-time image and video processing Background in 3D vision, SLAM or structure-from-motion Familiarity with embedded deployment (CUDA, TensorRT, Jetson or similar) Good understanding of robotics and sensor integration Ability to work in a fast-paced R&D environment with iterative prototyping

Experience with defect detection in industrial inspection (cracks, corrosion, anomalies) Knowledge of multimodal sensor fusion (e.g., radar and/or vision) Contributions to open-source vision or robotics libraries Experience with cloud-based AI model deployment
