Arms Control Expert Posted 3 years ago Part Time Full Description Overview Hotzone Solutions Group is a leading provider of specialized training and consulting services to the international community. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced arms control, nonproliferations and disarmament (ACND) expert to join our team and design, develop and deliver training courses to a diverse client base, including government officials, international organizations, and private sector professionals.

Design and develop specialized training curricula on topics related to arms control, nonproliferation, and disarmament, specifically in relation to the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC), Biological Weapons Convention (BWC), the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) Deliver training courses to clients both in-person and remotely, at various locations around the world Keep up to date with developments in the field and adjust training curricula accordingly Act as a subject matter expert and point of contact for clients on ACND issues Collaborate with international organizations such as the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA) and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to deliver training programs Assess client needs and tailor training programs to meet their specific requirements Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the international community Qualifications Advanced degree in a relevant field such as International Relations, Political Science, Arms Control and Nonproliferation, or related field Minimum of 7 years of experience in ACND field in government, international organizations or private sector Strong knowledge of international ACND regimes and agreements, including but not limited to CWC, BWC, NPT, and CTBT Strong knowledge of the role of international organizations in ACND such as OPCW, UNODA and IAEA Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs Ability to travel frequently to different locations around the world Fluency in English, both oral and written, additional languages is a plus Remote and part-time work availability Additional Information This position is remote and part-time work Hotzone Solutions Group is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from all qualified individuals Apply Now!
