About the role

The Quick Response Team (QRT) Factory & Field Integration (FFI) is part of the Manufacturing Process Support organization within the TWINSCAN Factory. As a QRT FFI 5-Shift Engineer, you provide first-line troubleshooting support for Factory and Field Integration activities and play a key role in securing factory progress and machine availability. You report to the QRT FFI Group Lead or Team Lead of your assigned team.

In this role, you are expected to solve technical issues independently during your shift, through troubleshooting and problem analysis. You can design and provide action plans for others within execution to solve these issues (e.g. damages, failing tests, progress and performance issues). You have a crucial role in enhancing the solving power of the execution teams through coaching and guidance. You function as a 1st line support organization of execution engineers. Using your skills and knowledge to assess technical complexity of issue, to suggest the correct way forward in close collaboration with the 2 shift QRT Team engineers. During unsupported shifts in the night you focus on securing progress both for factory and field.

You are expected to support delicate or complex hardware actions, in order to decrease hard down time during supported and particularly unsupported shifts. You keep learning and developing your knowledge and (hands-on) skills by collaborating closely with the QRT 2 Shift and joining other organizations (e.g. Technical Support/Module Production). You share the acquired knowledge and skills with your colleagues, to strengthen the overall competence of the QRT FFI 5-shift team. You will work in the 5 shift schedule and have an important task in your Natural Team to continuously drive improvements, by providing KT trainings, ensuring adherence to agreed processes and performing thorough aftercare with the focus on cycle time reduction. During escalations you work together many departments and competences on complex issues, hence your communication skills are crucial.

What you'll do

As a Quick response team FFI Engineer, you are responsible for supporting factory output by providing technical expertise and guidance when complex issues arise. You act as a key link between execution teams, QRT engineers, team leads, and other technical departments, helping to ensure that production targets and customer commitments are met. In addition to troubleshooting and technical decision-making, you play an important role in coaching colleagues, sharing knowledge, and continuously strengthening the technical capability of the QRT FFI organization.

System output and output pressure to support internal customers, flight dates and customer commitments

Manage workload, set priorities and assure timely and correct execution of tasks, solve bottle necks

Coaching and development within the team, with ranging levels of experience

Development and knowledge sharing across all engineers in QRT FFI also in other shift teams

Secure knowledge and skill level within the QRT FFI

Interface between various departments inside TF (and outside, e.g. D&E)

Support of TL’s, to guide in decision making on technical content

What you'll bring

Vocational degree (technical) with several years of experience or Bachelor or Master Degree in technical area

Above average troubleshoot skills and interest

Technical knowledge of ASML DUV systems

Demonstrates leadership skills through being a role model (‘Walk the Talk’)

Is by default present on the shop floor

Excellent communication skills on all levels, written and verbal

Receives and gives feedback regularly (gatekeeper of multiple processes)

A good balance on result oriented, focus on people and drive continuous improvement

Is empathic and easily connects with multiple levels

Can perform under pressure

Is a team player

Fluent in English, both vocal and technical
