About the role

Senior Instrument Engineer to manage instrumentation engineering activities, including instrument specifications, calculations, requisitions, and vendor documentation for complex engineering projects. -
What you'll do
Handle instrumentation engineering activities for projects and proposals. Prepare and review the basis of design for instrumentation scope. Assist in preparing P&IDs and participate in P&ID reviews, HAZOP meetings, and SIL meetings. Execute calculations for flow instruments, control valves, and pressure relief valves. Prepare specifications and datasheets for control valves, pressure relief valves, analysers, and related instrumentation. Prepare requisitions, technical bid tabulations, and review vendor documentation. Prepare documentation for DCS and SGS systems. Support inspections related to DCS, SGS, analysers, and instrumentation equipment. Provide site assistance during construction, commissioning, and start-up when required. Coordinate with project management, procurement, construction, suppliers, clients, and other engineering disciplines.
What you'll bring
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation, Process Control, Electrical & Electronics, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering. More than 10 years of experience in a similar engineering function. Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Strong knowledge of instrumentation engineering within project and proposal environments. Experience with control valves, flow instruments, pressure relief valves, analysers, DCS and safety systems. Ability to work closely with process, procurement, construction, project teams, clients, and suppliers. Strong analytical and organisational skills. High level of accuracy and quality awareness. Flexible, result-oriented, and able to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
