The Project Lead is responsible for the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of CEAD projects, involving multiple stakeholders and technically complex environments. The role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with agreed planning and budget frameworks by applying structured project management methodologies and maintaining strong cross-functional collaboration and proactively managing risks and resources. Key Focus: Projects / Subsidy programs Level: Medior Level Time Commitment : 0,8 – 1 fte Your Activities: Project Planning and Execution Coordinate the planning and execution of projects, often involving multiple stakeholders, and technical disciplines and complex tasks. Develop and maintain effective project plans, track milestones, and follow up on progress and actions. Monitor project timelines and signal deviations or operational issues in a timely manner and follow up where required. Provide regular status updates and ensure alignment between stakeholders and project activities. Apply established project management methodologies and contribute to improvements based on project experience. Document lessons learned to support continuous improvement within the team and organization. Stakeholder Management and Communication Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to align on project requirements, progress, and changes. Anticipate and identify potential bottlenecks and support effective collaboration across teams Ensure stakeholders remain informed of project timelines, updates, and adjustments Resource Allocation and Budget Management Support project budgeting activities and monitor project expenditures against agreed frameworks. Coordinate resource planning in alignment with project needs and objectives and team availability. Support the identification of cost variances and request approvals for budget adjustments In coordination with relevant stakeholders. Track resource requirements to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget. Risk Management and Problem Solving Identify potential project risks within assigned projects and support the immediate action and implementation of mitigation actions. Communicate risks to team members and stakeholders and maintain risk logs for proactive risk management. Contribute to and support solutions that addresses impacts on project timelines, scope, or quality. Team Leadership and Development Work closely with Field Service Engineers, Project Engineering, and other internal teams to ensure smooth service execution. Represent CEAD professionally as a technical ambassador during customer interactions.
What you'll bring
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field Experience in project coordination or management within a technical or complex environment Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2, PMI) Knowledge or proven experience in subsidy-based innovation programs or projects Strong analytical and communication skills Fluent in Dutch and English (both written and spoken / additional languages are a plus) Willingness to travel occasionally (national and international) Living within commuting distance of Delft In possession of a valid driving license Strong project coordination and organizational skills Clear and affective communication with stakeholders at different levels Ability to monitor budgets and resources within defined frameworks.
