What you'll do

You will: Execute service jobs on vessels as directed by the Service Coordinator or Scheduler. Maintain, troubleshoot and optimize maritime communication and navigation systems. Prepare accurate service reports according to Radio Holland standards. Document services provided, materials used and technical findings in a clear and complete way. Follow QHSE principles, policies, regulations and standards during all service activities. Keep technical knowledge up to date by reviewing technical bulletins, service manuals, installation manuals and other relevant technical information. What does success look like? After completing the required training and a period of guidance, independently perform service work on board vessels. Consistently aim for a First-Time-Right outcome by accurately diagnosing and resolving technical issues during the initial attendance. Be fully prepared for each service request with a clear job scope, the correct documentation, relevant job notes, tools and required spare parts. Deliver Results A person is successful in this role when they: Deliver reliable maintenance, troubleshooting and repair services for maritime navigation and communication systems in accordance with Radio Holland standards. Minimize vessel downtime and support customer satisfaction through accurate, efficient and customer-focused service. Complete accurate and comprehensive service reports on time, clearly documenting the work performed, materials used and technical findings to support accurate and undisputed invoicing. Manage assigned service jobs and changing priorities effectively, while coordinating closely with Service Coordinators and Schedulers. Work safely and in full compliance with QHSE requirements and applicable regulations, while keeping technical knowledge up to date. What you'll bring

Required Technical background in engineering, electronics or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience in a technical or field service environment, with strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and within a team. Flexibility to travel and work in maritime environments, with excellent command of English. Preferred Interest in the maritime sector. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a related field. Experience in a technology-driven industry, such as shipbuilding, retrofit, oil and gas, navy or maritime services. Knowledge of maritime communication and navigation systems. You will contribute to customer satisfaction and operational reliability by carrying out service work accurately, following QHSE requirements and keeping your technical knowledge up to date. The role sits within the Deepsea Department, which consists of service engineers, coordinators and technical specialists, and reports to the Technical Service Team Lead.
