Train Operator

The Asfalt Recycle Bedrijf ARB) is a young and dynamic organization located in the Port of Amsterdam. We transform ZOAB milled asphalt into high-quality aggregate materials. Through high-quality recycling, we reduce the need to extract primary raw materials and contribute to the realization of a circular economy. We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Machine Operator to join our team.

As a Machine Operator at ARB, you will work with the team on the production process every day. Your responsibilities will include: Operating the wheel loader and crawler crane (Volvo L150/L220 & Cat 336). Operating the equipment and monitoring the production process. Daily maintenance of the facilities, machinery, and grounds. Identifying, preventing, and resolving malfunctions during the production process. Assist with (major) maintenance. Who are we looking for A proactive and independent work ethic. Experience in the recycling industry as a machine operator and/or operator is preferred. A willingness to learn and contribute to our ongoing quality improvement efforts. Flexibility regarding availability; some of the work takes place outside of office hours and on weekends. Strong communication skills A drive to make the best of it together with colleagues.
