Serving à la carte breakfast is a whole different ballgame than restocking a buffet. You take orders, give recommendations, and maintain an overview of twenty tables that all arrive at different times, and are all in a rush. If that's what keeps you sharp, you're reading the right job opening.

We are Recolo. We place hospitality professionals at four- and five-star hotels across the Randstad. For a five-star hotel in Amsterdam, we are looking for Breakfast Attendants for à la carte service.

What you'll do

Take orders from the menu and advise guests on dishes, coffee, and dietary requirements.

Ensure the dining room and mise en place are set correctly before the first guest arrives.

Maintain direct communication with the kitchen so courses arrive exactly when the guest wants them.

Recognize the subtle differences: the business guest who needs to leave in twenty minutes versus the couple taking two hours to enjoy their morning.

Assist in setting up for lunch or handling the handover to the day team.

Waiting staff experience, preferably with à la carte service in the higher-end segment.

Knowledge of coffee, tea, and classic breakfast dishes, or the drive to learn quickly.

Conversational Dutch and English. Additional languages are a plus.

You are a morning person. Seriously, this is essential for the role.

Composure and strong organizational skills when the dining room fills up all at once.
