Catering Employee - Restaurant Setting - Location: Schiedam

About the Role

Are you flexible, hospitable, and passionate about food and beverage? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same? For a restaurant in Schiedam, Recolo is looking for an enthusiastic Catering Employee to strengthen the team.

One day you'll be at the hot counter baking fresh rolls and pastries, making soups, and preparing hot snacks. The next day, you'll prepare custom sandwiches or assist guests at the cash register. In addition to daily lunch service, you will also support special receptions and evening council or committee meetings.

Your Responsibilities

Preparing, presenting, and setting up the daily lunch buffet

Safeguarding dish quality, presentation, and freshness

Maintaining a spotless, hygienic work environment according to strict standards

Welcoming colleagues and guests with a warm, professional attitude

Contributing to a positive, hospitable atmosphere in the restaurant

Education: MBO Level 2 (Horeca Assistent) or equivalent

Certification: Valid HACCP certificate

Experience: Proven track record in hospitality or corporate catering

Language: Good command of the Dutch language
