Breakfast from the menu is a different job than replenishing a buffet. You answer, you advise, you keep an overview of twenty tables that all come in at a different time and are all in a hurry. If that makes you sharp, you are reading the right vacancy.

We are Recolo. We place catering professionals at four- and five-star hotels in the Randstad. We are looking for breakfast staff for the à la carte service for a five-star hotel in Amsterdam.

What you do

You take orders from the menu and advise on dishes, coffee and dietary requirements.

You ensure that the room and the mise en place are correct before the first guest enters.

You keep the line with the kitchen short, so that corridors open when the guest wants them.

You recognize the differences: the business guest who has to leave in twenty minutes, and the couple who takes two hours.

You will participate in the build-up to lunch or the transfer to the day shift.

Experience in service, preferably with à la carte service in the higher segment.

Knowledge of coffee, tea and classic breakfast dishes, or the desire to build this up quickly.

Dutch and English at conversational level. Additional languages ​​are an advantage.

You are a morning person. Seriously, this is not an afterthought in this position.
