A prestigious 5-star hotel, located in the vibrant heart of Amsterdam, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant (Algemene Dienst) to join its professional housekeeping team. This hotel is known for its high standards and exceptional service, and is situated on one of the most iconic and beautiful spots in the city.

As a Public Area Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of all public areas in the hotel. From the lobby to the hallways, elevators, and restrooms – you help create a fresh, spotless and welcoming environment for every guest.

Your tasks include cleaning all public areas, restocking supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and supporting the housekeeping team when needed. You work independently but are also part of a friendly, high-performing team.

We offer a starting hourly wage of €14.55, plus 10% night shift allowance when applicable and 8% holiday pay. Wages are paid weekly, every Friday. You’ll have a flexible work schedule with opportunities to work different shifts throughout the week, and long-term employment in a clean, safe and luxury hotel environment.

We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Basic English or Dutch communication skills are required. Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is a plus, but not a must.
