Are you a seasoned Maintenance Manager with a passion for ensuring seamless operations in a high-paced food production environment? A leading industrial bakery in the Netherlands is seeking a proactive leader to oversee and enhance their technical operations. This role offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment in a facility that produces over 800,000 bakery products daily.
What you'll bring
A Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
5–10 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably within the food or FMCG industry
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a technical team
Proficiency in maintenance planning and the use of CMMS systems (e.g., Ultimo)
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands (relocation support provided)
Role / Responsibilities
As Maintenance Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing annual maintenance plans for machinery, buildings, and installations
Coordinating daily technical issues with production departments
Managing the maintenance program to ensure optimal equipment performance
Overseeing the spare parts inventory and procurement processes
Leading investment planning for technical assets
Training and mentoring technicians and other staff members
Serving as the technical expert within the management team
Being available for emergency support outside regular working hours
